How shmup.org and Shmup Rogue use cookies and local storage
This Cookie Policy explains how Image AI LLC uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on shmup.org and in Shmup Rogue at game.shmup.org.
What are cookies and local storage?
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar browser feature that lets a website keep small amounts of data on your device.
What we use
- Essential storage: the site remembers your language choice so pages open in the right language.
- Game data (local storage): the game saves your settings, language, last selected ship and high score on your device. This data is never sent to us.
- Analytics cookies: we may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate usage, such as visits, game starts, devices and browsers. These services set their own cookies.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell data.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics will not affect the game. Clearing local storage for game.shmup.org will reset your settings and high score.
