The terms for playing Shmup Rogue and using shmup.org
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of shmup.org and the browser game Shmup Rogue at game.shmup.org (together, the "Service"), operated by Image AI LLC ("we", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
The game is free
Shmup Rogue is free to play. There are no purchases, subscriptions or accounts. We may add, change or remove features — for example, online co-op is planned — at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in a way that breaks any law or regulation
- Attack, overload or try to gain unauthorized access to our servers or networks
- Distribute malware or use the Service to harm other people
- Copy, resell or republish the game, its code or its art as your own
Streaming, recording and sharing videos or screenshots of Shmup Rogue is welcome, as long as you do not claim the game as your own.
Intellectual property
Shmup Rogue, including its name, logo, ships, enemies, art, music, sound effects and code, is owned by Image AI LLC and protected by copyright and other laws. Other names mentioned on the Service belong to their respective owners.
Local data
The game stores your settings and high score in your browser. Clearing your browser data will reset them, and we cannot restore them.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted or free of bugs.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Image AI LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
